London-based duo lilo have been developing their bond and musical craft over around ten years, and have finally dropped their debut single. ‘Change’ is a beautiful track pushed forward by the delicate acoustics of piano and guitar bouncing off of each other in a similar way to the pair’s glossy harmonies. “Change is about the experience of knowing that something that you want might not be what is best for you,” they explain. “It’s about pushing your boundaries just to find that you’ve pushed them too far.” Their bond becomes clear after just a few seconds of experiencing their sound, which bodes well for future releases. -Dan Peeke
